Position
Stand on your knees, facing each other.
Place your right arm under your partner’s left arm, and your left hand on your partner’s elbow.
Hook your fingers and push your hips out.

The aim of the struggle
You win the struggle by wrestling your partner to the ground.

Think about
You can defend yourself or attack with one foot on the ground.
When the struggle is won, you start again on the same side.
For the next round, you change sides.

Useful points
Alternate sides and use your torso to wrestle your opponent to the ground.
It is tempting to try to push your partner by leaning forward. However, this makes you lose your balance sideways.
